Did anyone see the fog out in Baltimore today? It looked as if God applied a gaussian blur filter to make everything look dreamy and romantic...unless you're driving and it's just poor visibility as far as you're concerned.

What if, on one cold winter night, it started snowing circles, and rectangles, and triangles? After ruling out math loving aliens or the Ghost of Maths Yet to Come, I'd probably think someone was having fun with special effects and start looking around the corner for Mr Kutcher (the fact that I'm not yet a celeb probably won't cross my mind). I guess what would freak me out is the fact that scientific rules were suddenly changed...and not the fact that geometric shapes are falling out of the sky. Marriage is a covenant and I believe that, more important than the certificate given by the court house, is the covenant between the couple. I believe this covenant is signified by the biological covenant marker that God created...SEX. I believe God is very particular about covenants to the extent that the virginal bleeding is a blood covenant of sorts, which I believe He takes very seriously. I believe God sees the sexual act as part of marriage so you can't really 'test the waters' without getting married. I also wouldn't be surprised if God saw some other not-so-committal things like living together as part of marriage but let's not belabor that right now. Sex is about giving and taking. I believe God's intent was for the giving to be active and the taking to be passive. Sex is a symbol that represents marriage, which is a symbol that represents the way God expects us to live our lives...without selfishness, taking utmost care of the other person's needs....

Start a love revolution in your household, let it spread to your work, and then your community...then you'll have the ears of the people...cos they can't ignore the successful environment(s) you've created. Either way before you start any revolution, make sure that you also are totally (I mean totally) without blame.

It takes a lot of a kind of intellectual energy to create a functional product. It takes a lot of another kind of intellectual energy to create a beautiful product. Now talk less of creating a product that is both functional and beautiful in design. It’s so easy to tell the absence of intelligence…by the absence of order. Science teaches us that disorder is a more natural state than order (via entropy). Meaning that situations, left by themselves, tend towards chaos. Yes it takes a conscious effort to produce order…talk less of functional order…then talk less of functional and beautiful order. Logic, as defined within the (narrow) limits of our cerebration can’t wholly exist without faith…especially when it comes to our origins. There really is a sweet blur between faith and logic. One always has to believe either that at some point nothing became something, or that a something just always was. Science tells us that matter is neither created nor destroyed so if nothing became something...
